The Best Easy Gluten-Free Waffles {Dairy-Free & Vegan Option}

Gluten-Free Waffle Bliss: A Taste Revolution

Welcome to my gluten-free kitchen, where we redefine breakfast with the unrivaled delight of gluten-free waffles! In this post, I'll share my go-to gluten-free waffle recipe, and why, in my humble opinion, they triumph over their gluten counterparts.

The Gluten-Free Waffle Love Affair

There's something extraordinary about the crisp exterior and soft, fluffy interior of gluten-free waffles. For me, these golden delights aren't just a breakfast option; they're a culinary love affair that transforms an ordinary morning into an extraordinary one.

Why Gluten-Free Waffles?

The taste. The texture. The satisfaction. Gluten-free waffles have an edge that's hard to put into words. The combination of ingredients not only caters to dietary restrictions but elevates the overall experience. And let's face it, they taste downright better than their gluten-filled counterparts!

The Game-Changing Gluten-Free Waffle Recipe

Ingredients:

    • ¼ cup granulated sugar
    • ½ cup vegetable oil
    • 2 large eggs (Vegan option use gluten-free Bob's Red Mill egg replacer)
    • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
    • 2 cups all-purpose gluten-free flour (I like Pillsbury gluten-free flour. Not all gluten-free flours are created equal. You may experience different baking results depending on the gluten-free flour blend you choose.)
    • ½ teaspoon xanthan gum ((leave out if your flour blend already has it))
    • 4 teaspoons gluten-free baking powder
    • ¼ teaspoons salt
    • 1 ¾ cup milk (dairy-free/Vegan use unsweetened almond, cashew, or coconut milk)

Instructions:

    • In a large bowl whisk the eggs (or egg replacer), granulated sugar, pure vanilla extract, and the vegetable oil together.
    • Add the gluten-free flour, xanthan gum (leave out if your flour already has it), gluten-free baking powder, and salt to the egg mixture and mix until fully combined.
    • Stir in milk and mix until smooth.
    • Using a greased ice cream scoop, pour the batter onto a preheated greased waffle machine.
    • Cook the waffles according to the directions of the waffle maker, or until they are golden brown.
    • Top with butter, syrup or favorite topping. Enjoy! Store leftovers in an air-tight container.
    • These waffles can be frozen and reheated in the microwave. To freeze the waffles, allow them to completely cool and place them on a parchment lined baking sheet and flash freeze them for 10 minutes. Flash freezing them keeps them from sticking together. Once they are flash frozen, you can remove them from the baking sheet and place them inside a freezer-safe bag or air-tight container.

The Taste Test

Prepare to be amazed! The combination of flavors and the perfect balance of textures make these gluten-free waffles a breakfast sensation. Say goodbye to bland and hello to a whole new world of waffle wonder.

Easy 5-Ingredient Sweet Chicken {Gluten-free}

  The original recipe for sweet chicken came from a friend and called for adding some sesame seeds and using this sauce over chicken wings as a party food.  I decided to use chicken tenders or chicken breasts to make this an easy main dish for a healthy and hearty dinner served over brown rice or Basmati rice. I’ve been making it this way for 15 years now, so this is definitely a tried and true favorite! One thing I love is that you can serve it as whole breasts, tenders, or  you can cut the chicken up after baking into bite-sized pieces and spoon additional sauce from the pan over the pieces . So good! Doesn’t that look so good dished up and ready to dig in? For those that like green onions, you can sprinkle some chopped green onions on top when serving. Another idea would be to sprinkle sesame seeds on top if you’d like. Notes on Ingredients for this gluten-free sweet chicken: (With only 5 ingredients, there isn’t much to say!) Chicken: I prefer using boneless, skinless...
